Meet the Staff: Angel Ruzicka

Our Editor Angel Ruzicka answers eight questions, from the indie game they rate 92/100 to the Mario Kart item they would carry in real life.

Angel Ruzicka is Gaming World's Editor, and the first person on the staff to answer our Meet the Staff questions. We sent eight, and Angel answered all of them. Here they are in Angel's own words.

Anything you are making yourself that you would like to plug?

Just my writings :)

How would you like to be introduced: name, handle, or something else?

Angel Ruzicka

Is there an indie game you think more people should know about?

Honestly, a game I just reviewed for GWUK, Goo Deer, was actually so good. The multiplayer is so fun, and I actually had SUCH a blast. It was amazing all around.

I rated it a 92/100, which is high praise, especially from me.

Which game item would be most useful in real life?

I think a Mario Kart star, honestly. Being completely invulnerable for a short period would be so helpful in a variety of situations.

Your ideal gaming snack, honestly?

Chewy Chips Ahoy cookies and a glass of milk :)

A genre you never play, and what would change your mind?

I never play MOBAs anymore. I used to play League of Legends religiously, but I got burnt out, partially because of the community's attitude and partially because ranked was just brutal for me. League of Legends is the only MOBA I ever got into, so I simply don't play them anymore. You might get to see me on ARAM Mayhem, but that's about it.

A game that changed how you see a genre?

Two come to mind. 2064: Read Only Memories for point-and-click visual novel/interactive fiction and Ascend to Zero, a time-stopping roguelike where you battle in a grid-based procedural dungeon map on four different floors to save your friends and race against time.
