The shape of what's coming
UKKO is a browser-based computer-vision game engine. Players stand in front of a webcam, the engine watches their body, and their movements trigger curated video sequences in real time. No controllers. No downloads. Just step in front of the camera and play.
Fearfa — the first game
Fearfa is our debut title on the engine: a short, arcade-feel soccer experience where every kick you throw at the screen is read live and answered with a reaction clip. It's designed for a standing player, a single webcam, and anyone walking up cold. No tutorials, no accounts, just kick.
Where we are
The engine runs, the first real clips are in, the music is wired, and the rounds system is live in code. What's left is the HUD polish, audio-reactivity, and a few more passes of art direction before we open the doors to testing. We're shipping a playable build at ukko.gamingworld.uk and it'll go live here on the Gaming World news feed the moment it's ready.
What to expect next
- Weekly development updates as new clips and gameplay features land
- A public playable beta once the core loop is polished
- Face-capture high score leaderboards
- A Peak Technologies event showcase in May 2026
More soon. Stay tuned to gamingworld.uk/news.
