Editorial rules
- AI disclosure
- Previews and news desk stories are drafted with AI and say so on the page, in the byline and in the structured data. Reviews are written by people who played the game; no review is written with AI.
- Sources
- Every news story is written from named outside reporting, an official release or a repository, listed under Sources on the piece; a forum thread alone is never a story. Previews are written from the store page, the screenshots and what the studio sends, and never claim anyone here has played the game.
- Nothing for sale
- No advertising and no paid placement. Credits on the site are earned by writing and taking part; they are never sold.
- No keys, no ROMs
- Review keys a studio sends are used to review the game and are never published or passed on. The emulator and handheld databases describe software and hardware and link to no ROMs or copyrighted game files.
- Corrections
- A studio is emailed when its game is previewed or reviewed, and corrections are made on request: hello@gamingworld.uk.
