Come and hang out with us on the Gaming World Discord

The server made the move with the rest of the site and is up and running. New reviews, previews, features and news land there on their own, and the moderators are around. Here is how to get in.

AI-drafted from 2 sources. This story was written with AI from the outside reporting listed under Sources, and checked by automated tools before it went up. The originals have the full detail.

Gaming World has a Discord, and it is open. Click discord.gg/PNFqAgVkxu to join, or find it any time on our Discord page, which is linked at the bottom of every page on the site.

The server came along when the whole site moved house this week, so nothing changed for anyone already in it. It is running, the bot is posting, and the moderators are on hand if you need a person.

Everything we publish, as it goes live

You do not have to keep checking the site to catch new pieces. Every new review, preview, feature and news story posts itself into the server the moment it is published, each in its own channel. If something we wrote makes you want to argue, agree or add what we missed, reply right there under it.

Somewhere to talk games

Beyond the feeds there are rooms for general chat, for what you are playing right now, for indie games more people should know about, and for emulation and handhelds. If something on the site is broken, there is a help channel for that too, and it gets read.

Studios are welcome as well. If you make games and want yours in front of our writers, the server has a channel that explains how to send one in.

Getting in

Click the invite, accept the short rules when Discord shows them, and you are in. Brand new accounts wait a few minutes before they can post, which keeps most of the spam out. Be decent, keep it about games, keep it safe for work, and never post a game key in the server.

The site is still where everything lives. The Discord is where we get to talk about it with you, so come and say hello. If a room is missing or something feels off, tell us in the server and we will change it.
