Trenchworms is pitching itself as a return to Liero, the worm duels you dug through as a kid, rebuilt with destructible terrain and a campaign boss called The Architect. The screenshots the developer has put out all show the same thing: one human-named worm called Toudi, surrounded by three labelled AI 1, AI 2 and AI 3. That is the game as I can currently see it, and it raises the one question a multiplayer preview exists to ask. The terrain in those shots has clearly been through a fight.
